Your data, plainly explained.
What we collect
Application form information you provide: name, contact details, role, business description, AI experience, and your responses to the application questions. Site analytics via Plausible (no cookies, no personal data).
Why we collect it
To evaluate your application, communicate with you about the programme, and to plan cohort logistics. That's it. We don't sell, share, or use your data for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
Application data is retained while you remain an active applicant or participant, plus a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. AI Concierge chat logs (when launched) are retained 30 days with PII redacted on capture.
Who has access
Niel Malan and necessary AI Navigator administrators only. We will not share your data with Tangent Solutions or any third party without your explicit consent.
Your rights under POPIA
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Email hello@ainavigator.co.za.
Security
HTTPS everywhere. Data stored in managed infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. Voice recordings (when launched) are deleted once transcribed.
Background research during the AI Concierge interview
To help the conversation flow naturally, the AI Concierge may quietly look up publicly available information about you and your business (for example, your company's website or a public professional profile) while you speak. Any findings are shown to you in the interview panel and are only ever used to confirm details with you — nothing is recorded on your application without your explicit go-ahead. We do not retain the raw search results beyond the interview session.
